Cost of Admission – Entry is free. (There is additional charge for the IMAX and the simulators.)
Nearest Underground –South Kensington on the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines. A pedestrian subway runs directly from the ticket barrier at South Kensington station to the Main Entrance of the Museum.
Bus Routes – Bus routes 14, 49, 70, 74, 345, 360, 414, 430 and C1 stop outside South Kensington Underground Station, from where it is a five minute walk north to the Museum’s Main Entrance.
Parking – Parking is extremely limited.
Wheelchair & Buggy Access – Good wheelchair access and lifts to all floors make it easy to get around the Museum with a buggy.
Pit Stop – There are a number of options including the Revolution Café (self-service) and Deep Blue, a family restaurant with activity boxes provided for younger children to enjoy. In addition, eating and drinking is permitted in any uncarpeted area of the museum and there is a picnic area on the first floor.
