Half Term fun with Creative Workshops at Somerset House – Tip the Balance

  • Saturday 30 May 2009
  • Draw inspiration from the collections, exhibitions and magnificent architectural surroundings at Somerset House, then create your own masterpieces from what you learn. Discover artworks in The Courtauld Gallery that look at composition and weight then create your own carefully balanced sculpture…
  • All holiday drop-ins run from 11.00-13.00 and then 14.00-16.30, the activity lasts about half an hour. They are suitable for families with children of all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult. If the workshop is full, families are welcome to wait until spaces become available
  • Spaces are limited, so tickets are allocated on a first come first served basis. Meet in The Learning Centre, Embankment Level, South Building, Somerset House.

 

Tudor Family Day at the Museum of Croydon, CR9

  • Saturday 30th May, 11am – 3pm
  • Play the lute, make your own jester bauble and learn to be a fool at our Tudor Family Day.
  • This is a free event.
  • Queens Gardens, Katharine Street,  Croydon, CR9. In case of bad weather the Family Day will be held in Croydon Clocktower, Katharine Street
