Planes, Trains and, well, Buses

- Family outing for Father’s Day

Are we nearly there yet?

Looking for a little inspiration for Father’s Day? How about some bonding over trains, planes and automobiles, at the London Transport Museum?

Ok, so ‘planes’ is a slight exaggeration. And the automobiles in question happen to be taxis, but both your little speed demon and his Daddy will enjoy indulging their mutual passion for all things vehicular.

The Museum offers a fantastic fun-packed family outing, for all generations. While Grandpa reminisces over journeys of yesteryear, Dad will enjoy investigating transport plans for the 21st century, or displaying his prowess on the Tube simulator.

And the small conductor will love commandeering a bus in ‘All Aboard’. And then he and Dad can move on to conquer the City in the mini-transport world. Well thought-out (like giving each seat on the bus its own steering wheel to avoid sharing sensitivities) and great fun, plan on an extended visit.

Then retreat to the Upper Deck café, or wonder through Covent Garden in search of culinary delights. By which time, you too will be dreaming of planes, trains and, well, buses.

What Mini says:

Vroom, vroom …
